Wood Fired Tornado Clay Bowl

This large bowl was wheel thrown with stoneware clay and fired for over 24 hours in a wood kiln. Glazed only on the inside in a matte robin's egg blue, the outside is raw clay- wood ash depositing on the outside to create the visual texture, as well as hand drawn spirals. Rippled foot; it's an oblong shape and fits nicely in your hands. Food and dishwasher safe, measures 3" in height and 6 3/4" at the widest part of the rim.
