Each baby face was press molded from stoneware clay in a vintage plaster mold, and fired raw in a noborigama wood kiln. Natural wood ash and salt deposits created the creamy glaze you see on each face. One set of hands was high fired a vibrant gold glaze. Around each face, handmade glass doll eyes were incorporated into this one-of-a-kind piece set into a sturdy wooden frame. Measures 7"x7"
