Laced Tree Clay Mug

This hand built stoneware mug was fired in a noborigama wood kiln. It has a deep lace texture on the outside, and the clay was left raw except for the lip. The wood ash that swirled around during the 36 hour firing process left a glossy umber finish and a matte texture on the handle. The interior glaze is mottled and flowing. Uneven lip, 3 finger handle. A nice, sturdy mug. Microwave and dishwasher safe, measures 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
