This slip cast ceramic baby head mug was made using a vintage plaster mold and a hand made handle mold. Fired in a noborigama wood kiln, the green spot on the forehead and the yellow lip are the only glazed parts of the exterior- the visual texture, gloss and specks were created by the wood ash depositing itself inside the kiln.
The interior is a creamy yellow glaze.
Microwave and dishwasher safe, 4" in height and holds about 15 ounces of liquid.

Please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

(Custom work currently not available as of January 2020) I am more than happy to do custom work if you enjoy my ceramics but want something more specific than what I offer. It will take a little longer to get the piece to you since the process is quite involved, but I will keep you up to date on what is happening with your order.
A little info about custom orders before placing one:
*If a drawing or mock up for the piece needs to be made, a $10 (per design) charge will be added to the total price.
*If the conversation about a custom piece lasts more than 6 back and forth messages to come to an agreement/decision, a $15 charge will be added to the final price.
*We will both agree upon a total cost, and I will post a listing for the item when everything has been agreed upon. S/H is extra
*I will add the 20 cent Etsy listing charge to your order.
*You will need to purchase the custom listing before I start making the piece.
**I am able to take a 50% deposit when I start the piece if the final cost is over $50. I will then accept the rest of the payment before I ship the piece.
