Drop in a Clay Bowl

Shipping to United States: Free

This high fire stoneware bowl was thrown on a potters wheel and can definitely be termed as "wabi sabi"- a concept in traditional Japanese aesthetic described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete". This bowl has style and flair! You will not find it at an Ikea, or even duplicated by TheCeramery.

Manipulated to have 1/2 a ruffled lip, it was glazed in the inside bottom with celadon glazes. Rice paper decals and under glaze designs going over the lip, the exterior has a ribbon of celadon with a few drips. The rest is raw tan clay.
An unusual bowl, this guy will be a real eye catcher and will hold any side dish, fruit basket or big bowl of cereal.

Microwave, food, oven and dishwasher safe. Measures 6 1/2"x 5 1/2" opening 2 1/2" in height.

Returns and exchange details

If you are not satisfied with what you purchased, I will gladly refund your money, but I will need for you to pay to ship the item back to me. If the piece arrives to you broken, I will either refund you or send you another piece of your choice of equal value.

I am more than happy to do custom work if you enjoy my ceramics but want something more specific than what I offer. It will take a little longer to get the piece to you since the process is quite involved, but I will keep you up to date on what is happening with your order.

A little info about custom orders before placing one:

*If a drawing or mock up for the piece needs to be made, a $10 (per design) charge will be added to the total price.
*If the conversation about a custom piece lasts more than 6 back and forth messages to come to an agreement/decision, a $15 charge will be added to the final price.
*We will both agree upon a total cost, and I will post a listing for the item when everything has been agreed upon. S/H is extra
*I will add the 20 cent Etsy listing charge to your order.
*You will need to purchase the custom listing before I start making the piece.
**I am able to take a 50% deposit when I start the piece if the final cost is over $50. I will then accept the rest of the payment before I ship the piece.
